WELCOME TO THE NEW VICTORIAN SCHOOL

The New Victorian School is a private institution located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Its many programs include an elementary school for English and French speaking children.

The English speakers utilize a Christian-oriented American curriculum for children, age 2 – grade 12.

The French speakers use a combination of curricula from France and Haiti.

The academic program functions from September – June.

Registration normally takes place from March – August.

Early Bird English is a weekend program for children, ages 5 – 13, who wish to learn English as a Foreign Language.

Children meet on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Instruction is holistic in approach. Students have numerous opportunities to read, write, speak, sing songs and watch videos.

Sessions last for three months. Three sessions are offered per year.

Practical English for Adults is a program for those who wish to learn English as a Second or Foreign Language.

In addition to the ten levels, other elective courses offered include TOEFL Preparation,

Advanced Vocabulary & Idioms, Listening Comprehension, and Pronunciation.

The Music Section offers classes in theory, solfege, children and adult choirs,

as well as individual instrumental lessons such as piano, violin and viola.
